Created with Sketch.

The Professional Artists’ Eligibility designation is designed to make art space in The Orange Hub more accessible for professional artists and arts organizations. Located on the west end of the city, The Orange Hub is a centre for non-profit groups that offer programs and services in the arts, recreation, wellness, and learning. The building is owned and operated by the City of Edmonton.

In collaboration with Arts Habitat Edmonton and FAVA, City Administration has established an artist subsidy program that was passed on July 10th, 2019. The intent is to make a collection of arts-built space in The Orange Hub accessible for professional artists and arts organizations that meet the eligibility criteria. These spaces include dance space, recording and photography studios, along with classrooms and multi-purpose studio for visual artists.
