May Studio Spotlight

This month’s Studio Spotlight shines a light on the studio of Ron Long at ArtsHub Creative Studios. This studio is one of the three added studio spaces in 2025. The walls are soundproofed with RockWool, an insulation material designed for interior partitions to improve acoustic performance.

Ron is an Edmonton based voice teacher and performer. He’s taught singing lessons in Edmonton for over 25 years through the Conservatory and the Theatre Arts program at MacEwan. He regularly adjudicates music festivals and does workshops around western Canada and the Yukon. As a performer, Ron has done small roles with Edmonton Opera, and lots of roles with local theatre companies. He has appeared at the Edmonton Fringe many times over the years in various shows including ones he has written. He has also music directed and directed musicals and opera.

After teaching many years at home, Ron is happy to be teaching at ArtsHub Creative Studios downtown!
