Mike Holden Hosts a Smudging Ceremony and Drum Practice at ArtsHub Creative Studios

Artist Mike Holden, accompanied by family members, hosted and led a smudging ceremony for his new studio, followed by a drum practice at ArtsHub Creative Studios on Friday, June 13, 2025. Open to all, the ceremony welcomed many Arts Habbers, along with their family and friends, for a shared moment of reflection and connection. After the ceremony, attendees were invited to listen to and participate in an honour song drum practice. The vibrant rhythms filled the Gallery space, creating a powerful sense of togetherness. Participants were encouraged to join the drumming and follow Mike’s lead through the song.
