Application 2026/2027 Announcement
Arts Habitat Edmonton (AHE) has observed that in addition to providing a sponsored space, many Garage Studio resident artists and artist groups require the assistance of a project grant to put time and resources towards creating in the space. To further support this creative exploration, AHE is partnering with the Edmonton Arts Council (EAC) for a pilot program. This year, AHE and EAC are testing a new process that shortlists artists already funded by the EAC as possible users of the Garage Studio at ArtsHub McLuhan House. During the planned 2026-2027 residency at the ArtsHub McLuhan House Garage Studio, AHE will sponsor the studio space, while the EAC will select an artist who has already received an EAC project grant and work is suited for the space.
