Arts Habitat Edmonton manages four ArtsHubs in the Edmonton area that make great event spaces. These spaces are primarily activated by our Arts Habbers in creative, innovative, and engaging ways, but sometimes we host our own. Here is a list of upcoming events you don’t want to miss:

What is the HEART OF THE HABITAT?
Arts Habitat Edmonton invites you to come and experience the creative energy that our Arts Habbers contribute every day in our four ArtsHubs. We are bringing Arts Habbers together for a community showcase at ArtsHub Ortona as part of Alberta Culture Days. This free admission, all-ages, one-day event has an action-packed program from start to finish. Join us in celebrating the HEART of our Arts Habitat and enjoy incredible performances, workshops, activities, and exhibitions by our Arts Habbers in this unique community showcase.
Where is the event taking place?
HEART OF THE HABITAT will take place at ArtsHub Ortona in the neighborhood of Rossdale. The building address is 9722 102 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 0X4.
When is it?
Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. MST
How do I get there?
ArtsHub Ortona is accessible by all modes of transportation.
- Car – There is free parking located in the large lot south of the building.
- Bus – ETS Bus Route 009 is steps away, heading both north and southbound.
- LRT – Government Centre station and Central station are within a 15-minute walk.
- Bike – There is a bike rack outside ArtsHub Ortona, and many river valley bike trails to the Rossdale neighborhood.
Who is involved?
Arts Habitat Edmonton is hosting and coordinating HEART OF THE HABITAT. All entertainment and activities on display during the event are thoughtfully crafted by our dedicated and passionate Arts Habbers (Arts Habitat Members), who inhabit our four ArtsHubs that together make our Arts Habitat.
What are the admission fees?
This community event is free to attend. You will be able to make art and food purchases on site, but there is no cost to attend.
