General Conditions for Professional Artists’ Rate Eligibility
In order for your application to be considered, these general conditions must be met.
1. Our organization is in good standing with the City of Edmonton.
By checking this box, the above-mentioned organization is in good standing with the City of Edmonton.
2. Collaborative Arts-Related Activities
Please briefly describe current or past arts-related activity(ies), creative program(s), and/or project(s) with a community engagement component.
3. Arts Collaboration at The Orange Hub
Please describe how your organization's work and use of space in The Orange Hub would further the development of this arts collaborative.
4. Arts Organizations must be Edmonton-based or complete the majority of work in Edmonton.

7. Professional Artist Rate

We understand the Professional Artist Rate for qualifying organizations will apply to standard not-for-profit rental and lease rates only at The Orange Hub. The Professional Artist Rate cannot be combined with other lease rate discounts for non-profit organizations.
Mandatory Criteria
In order to qualify for the Professional Artist Rate, the applying organization should meet the following five criteria. Please respond to all that apply and answer the questions as necessary. Even if you don't meet all 5 expectations, your application may still be considered
1. The work and goals of the organization must actively support artistic practice in their discipline(s).

2. The organization must pay the majority of their artists at professional fee standards.
By checking this box, you are agreeing that your organization pays the majority of the artists at a professional fee standard.

3. The organization must employ at least one paid administrative staff (even if this person is part-time, seasonal, or contracted).

4. The organization must be a registered not-for-profit organization in good standing with AB registries.

The organization must have some kind of accreditation or membership in a professional association appropriate to their artistic activity whose membership or categories of membership are limited under standards established by the association; or which is a trade union or its equivalent appropriate to their artistic endeavours and purpose.
