Visit the 5th Floor Sustainable Planning Department. When considering
renting or leasing a space for your use, we highly recommend you take
the address, floor plan and site plan with you to the 5th floor and
speak with a development advisor before you enter into an agreement.
This precautionary step could provide you with important information
to plan for your space needs and save you much agony further down the
road.
The advisors will help determine if your use or activity is allowed
on the site you are considering, how much parking you will need (extremely
important in approving a development permit even if you think you don't
need much parking) and what other building code upgrades will be required
to fit out the space to suit your use.
